Transform your ride
MadStad's patented mounting system allows riders to adjust the height and angle of their motorcycle windshield resulting in much smoother airflow, better wind protection and a more comfortable ride than any fixed windshield can provide.

What's included in the kit
Not just a replacement shield, this is a complete drop-in system that gives you adjustable airflow control. It includes everything needed to mount and position the shield:

• Dual base shields
• MadStad adjustable brackets
• Single full-width adjustable windshield
• Center mounting bracket and hardware

We've separated the front shield from the vehicle so you can adjust it for the optimum height, angle and airflow and look over the shield, not through it, even at highway speeds. The dual base shields attach to the dash using the same mounting holes as the factory shield, so installation is fairly quick and easy. Compatible with all roof systems.

Riding is believing
With the windshield separated from the fairing riders now have control over the height and angle of the shield to eliminate the vacuum that is the primary cause of most turbulence. The result? Smooth airflow placed exactly where it’s desired. Most customers have found that they can actually get better wind protection with our smaller adjustable shield rather than a larger fixed one. You don't have to compromise wind protection to enjoy the open-air motorcycling experience!

Size and Color
While the MadStad windshield systems are fully adjustable, we recommend starting with the appropriate shield size relative to rider height.

These are general recommendations and can vary depending on your inseam, seat height and riding position. We can also accommodate extra short or tall riders by special request. You can measure from the top edge of your dashboard (right behind the steering wheel) straight up with a yard stick or tape measure. Our 9" shield is 5" above that point and can be raised another 2" from there. If your mouth level is somewhere in that range, then the 9" shield should be right for you. If your mouth level is noticeably higher than that, measure how much more and go up in size accordingly per the chart above.

NOTE: Our new model single/blade windshield DOES NOT have a center notch cut out of the top edge. The top edge of the plastic goes straight across because we found that provides better wind protection. Some of the sample photos show the old style and we want you to to be aware of the change.

All MadStad windshields are made from 3/16" (4.5 mm) thick cast acrylic and are available in four different tint colors. See photos bar for comparison image.
