MadStad's patented mounting system allows riders to adjust the height and angle of their motorcycle windshield resulting in much smoother airflow, better wind protection and a more comfortable ride than any fixed windshield can provide.

What's included in the kit
Our complete drop-in system requires no modification to your Slingshot and includes everything needed to mount and position the shields.

We've separated the front shields from the vehicle so you can adjust them for the optimum height, angle and airflow. The driver and passenger can each set their own wind protection comfort and shield height so each can be comfortable and look over the shield, not through it. We include a center deflector because it blocks the strong air blast that comes through the middle and gives you a much more calm and quiet cockpit, especially at highway speeds.

Riding is believing
With the windshield separated from the fairing riders now have control over the height and angle of the shield to eliminate the vacuum that is the primary cause of most turbulence. The result? Smooth airflow placed exactly where it’s desired. Most customers have found that they can actually get better wind protection with our smaller adjustable shield rather than a larger fixed one. You don't have to compromise wind protection to enjoy the open-air motorcycling experience!

Size and Color
While the MadStad windshield systems are fully adjustable, we recommend starting with the appropriate shield size relative to rider height.

5'10" or less	8"
5'11" to 6'2"	10"
6'3" and taller	12"

These are general recommendations and can vary depending on your inseam, seat height and riding position. We can also accommodate extra short or tall riders by special request. You can measure from the top edge of your dashboard (right behind the steering wheel) straight up with a yard stick or tape measure. Our 8" shield is 5" above that point and can be raised another 2" from there. If your mouth level is somewhere in that range, then the 8" shield should be right for you. If your mouth level is noticeably higher than that, measure how much more and go up in size accordingly per the chart above.

All MadStad windshields are made from 3/16" (4.5 mm) thick cast acrylic and are available in six different tint colors. See photos bar for comparison image.

All orders $85.00 or more are eligible for Free Shipping within the contiguous United States. Any order $84.99 or less will be subject to a flat rate Shipping Fee of $10.00. Slingshotonly.com does ship to addresses within the U.S., U.S. Territories as well as P.O. Boxes and APO/FPO/DPO addresses, however, additional fees may apply to addresses not located within the contiguous United States.
