Seat covers: refresh a compatible existing seat

Choose covers when the existing seat shape works for you and the priority is upholstery, appearance or the added padding of a particular cover. A cover does not replace the underlying seat structure. Match the cover to the actual seat style; model year alone is not enough if the seats have already been changed.

2. Check comfort, support and your driving position

Start with what you want to improve: cushioning, support around your hips, room around your arms, ease of entry or a different upholstery feel. Whenever possible, sit in the seat before ordering. Check your normal driving posture, pedal reach, steering-wheel clearance and seat-belt position.

A deep pocket or more prominent bolster can feel supportive once seated, but entry and exit matter too. For taller drivers, check head clearance with your usual helmet and roof. 3. Choose materials and features for an open cockpit

Look for clearly described upholstery and care requirements. Marine-grade vinyl and synthetic upholstery are available on products in our range. Check the selected material’s resistance to water, sun and fading, and how it should be cleaned. A material description is not automatically a waterproof rating for the entire seat assembly.

Compare smooth surfaces, textured panels, piping and stitching for both appearance and everyday use. Request a material sample or configuration preview where available; photos and screens can change how a color looks.

• Heating: confirm which seat gets the option and what electrical installation is required.
• Adjustable lumbar support: consider whether the adjustment suits your preferred posture.
• Bolsters: compare support once seated with how easily you can enter and exit.
• Custom upholstery: approve panel colors, stitching and embroidery before a build-to-order purchase.

4. Verify fitment, brackets and retained adjustments

Before ordering, identify your model year, trim, existing seat model and mounting hardware. Confirm driver and passenger adjustment requirements, slider travel and clearance around the center console. Do not assume a seat sold for the Slingshot fits every year or every modified bracket.

PRP’s factory-base mounting description applies to a compatible original setup. If yours has been changed, confirm what must be retained or replaced. For either brand, use the correct installation instructions and check all mounting and restraint connections before driving. 5. Compare the complete installed cost

Check whether the price is for one seat, a pair, covers or a seat-and-bracket package. Add any required adapters, selected upholstery upgrades, shipping, taxes and installation. A seats-only price and a bracket-inclusive price are different offers.

For a custom order, confirm the final configuration, production schedule and applicable order terms. For a standard color, verify current availability before planning an installation or a trip.

All four listings above are for a driver-and-passenger pair. PRP upgrades can increase the final price. Taxes, shipping, installation and any additional mounting requirements should be checked separately. Twist Dynamics Gen 2: support, value and straightforward ordering

Twist Gen 2 seats combine a deeper seating pocket, contoured high-density foam and pronounced side bolsters. The pocket and bolsters are designed to support you through daily driving, longer trips and cornering. For buyers who want a more supportive seat shape without designing upholstery panel by panel, this is our first recommendation.

Materials suited to an open cockpit

The listings specify marine-grade vinyl and automotive-grade PVC leather, with water-, UV- and fade-resistant materials. The easy-clean surfaces are useful for a Slingshot exposed to sun and everyday dirt. PVC leather is a synthetic upholstery material; water resistance should not be treated as a promise that every part of the seat is waterproof.

PRP SR and SR SS are our recommendations for customers who want a custom interior. Both store listings offer choices in colors, materials, stitching and accents, with optional heat, adjustable air lumbar support and embroidery. Driver and passenger upgrades can be selected individually.

PRP describes the SR SS shape as contoured for elbow room. If cockpit space around your arms is a deciding factor, compare that shape with the SR before choosing. Its higher starting price does not automatically mean it will feel better for every body type; fit and preferred support should lead the decision.

It depends on the package. Twist Gen 2 is offered with brackets or as seats only. PRP describes mounting to a compatible factory base. Confirm all parts needed for your existing setup.
